we were able to expand our impact in the Ivory Coast!
Watte village, December 22 – 24: ICMRT provided diagnostic clinics, free impregnated mosquito nets, malaria rapid diagnostic tests, net installation in homes and education of residents in the village. Community Health Care Workers were selected from the community for additional training and education to continue ICMRT’s program. On this occasion over 300 people benefited from your generosity.
Orphanage of Grand-Bassam, established in 1972 to protect and educate girls from 6 to 14 years of age. ICMRT provided diagnostic clinics, free impregnated mosquito nets, malaria rapid diagnostic tests, training and education to the girls and the orphanage staff. Thanks to ICMRT, our in-country partners and our generous donors, 230 girls and their care takers received services!
In May 2017, ICMRT provided free medical examinations to 663 students in two schools for the Blind and Hearing Impaired in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. We also provided Malaria Test Kits, Insecticide-treated Mosquito Nets and other medicines to treat eye disorders and other health conditions.
